A BIT ABOUT ME

It all started in a restaurant, or so I’m told - perhaps several restaurants. According to my parents - and my startled and ashamed older sister - I would climb onto the table to sing my little heart out. That was the moment my parents decided that I needed a performative outlet of some kind and sent me to the local children’s community theater. From the age of seven to this day, I have performed in at least one show per year since 1995.

I look to the future and I see a multi-mediated career of theater, film, TV, and VO. I seek to forge a path with stories of history, the social margins, and comedy of all kinds. What I have discovered about the meaning of the performing arts is that it serves to remind us that at the moments of our lives with the highest stakes, the moments we as actors recreate with every project, are the ones when our choices have meaning. The impact of individual choices is what, I suppose, draws me so inexorably to history, recounting the personal decisions that shape our lives.
